Research on the Deoxidization of Nitrobenzene Reacted by Nonvalent Iron

The reduction property of zero-valent iron can be used in the treatment of waste water contaminants of nitrobenzene.In this case,nitrobenzene,which is hard or impossible to be degraded biologically,can be reduced to subnitrobenzene,and further to anilin,which is easily biologically degraded.Experiment shows that in indoor temperature and acidic conditions,the reduction percent of nitrobenzene could reach 97.4%under optimal conditions.
