Main Factors Controlling the Evolution of Physical Properties During the Process of Reservoir Sedimentation-Diagenesis

This paper dealt with the mineralogical features,micro-pore texture,diagenesis and so on.It is found that cementation has a double effect on the reservoir properties.Cementation increased the anti-compacting ability and also provided the material basis to some extent.However,the cements occupy some pore space.Cementation is the main controlling factor in the Y25 and Zh40 areas,and the reservoir is a secondary low-permeability reservoir(or diagenetic low-permeability reservoir).Early cementation and later corrosion were intense in the Y25 area,and so were the early compaction,later corrosion and metasomatism in the Zh40 area.The main factor controlling the evolution of physical properties is the interaction between the diagenetic field and the tectonic stress field based on the sedimentary environment.
