Bioactivities of polysaccharides

Polysaccharides are polymers of monosaccharide units joined together by glycosidic bonds.Studies have shown that polysaccharide exhibit significant biological activities.In this review,the biological activities of immunomodulating, antitumor,cardiovascular system disease,antiviral,antioxidation,anti-inflammatory and radioprotective of polysaccharides are reviewed.
