Research advances on determination and pollution of patulin

This paper reviews the determination and pollution of patulin in recent years,their advantages and disadvantages of various determination methods were discussed and the most commonly used determination method is HPLC.It is a trend to establish the efficient and cheap immunological detection method in the future.Also the pollution of patulin is not only in apple and hawthorn products but also in traditional Chinese medicines(red dates,almonds and pawpaw etc.),mostly in rotten fruit,fruit juices.
