Synthesis of Reduced Schiff Base of o-Vanillin and Amino Acids

Four new reduced Schiff base compounds were prepared from o-vanillin and amino acids(Glycine,Alanine,Leucine,and Methionine) through condensation,reduction,and acidification.The compounds were characterized by infrared spectroscopy,elemental analysis and NMR.
