New Development Mode of Offshore Maginal Oilfields

The development of offshore marginal oilfields is one of the three difficult technical problems in offshore oil development.This paper introduces a new development mode—moveable artificial island based on a summary of CNOOC marginal oilfield development modes.The integral development scheme is that two mooring platforms are separately set up near two sides of the artificial island and a breasting dolphin is set up at the artificial island;when a shuttle tanker is berthed,its bow and stern are separately moored to the two mooring platforms through mooring cables;the mooring platforms are kind of concrete structure with suction anchor foundation.The structural de sign of the island and its foundation as well as the design of oil-gas storage and transportation flow are illustrated in this paper.
