Measurement and Analysis on the Relationship Between Urbanization and Industrialization in Shaanxi Province

The progresses of urbanization and industrialization are relates closely and promote mutually.The developing relationship between urbanization and industrialization in Shaanxi province was quantitatively analyzed by using modified Chenery's model together with normal and error correction model.The result showed that the urbanization level in Shaanxi province lagged behind the industrialization level.There were two reasons for this.That is,on the one hand,the industrialization level could not stimulate urbanization level greatly and the regression coefficient was only 0.399 941,on the other hand,there was a reverse adjustment mechanism that hindered the development of the urbanization level and the adjustment level was up to 0.587 985.
