A review of recent investigations of magnetic relaxation in 3He‐B is presented. A new method for the measurement of relaxation is developed which makes use of the properties of the homogeneously processing domain (HPD). Terms corresponding to intrinsic and spin diffusion relaxation are distinguished, as well as surface relaxation and possible additional relaxation. At temperatures below 0.45 Tc a very fast process of relaxation is observed, which may be a manifestation of the collisionless regime. Some investigations of magnetic relaxation processes in 3He‐A are also presented.
