摘要
In this work, a bimodal grain structured Zn-0.4Mg-0.02Mn alloy with superior strength-ductility synergy was successfully prepared by combined equal channel angular pressing (ECAP) and cold rolling. The alloy has an ultimate tensile strength (UTS) of 334.4 MPa and an elongation (EL) of 40.0%, far exceeding the benchmark for medical implants. Hetero-deformation induced (HDI) strengthening plays a key role in its excellent mechanical performance.
