摘要
Abstract This paper proposes an intelligent energy-saving control system for street lighting to address the issues of high energy consumption and low management efficiency in conventional road lighting systems. The system architecture comprises a single-lamp controller, a centralized controller, a monitoring center, and a communication network, enabling optimized light-switching schedules, midnight dimming control, and adaptive adjustments for special weather conditions and holiday scenarios. By integrating power factor correction (PFC), automatic voltage regulation, and advanced energy-saving control algorithms, the system achieves significant reductions in energy consumption. To validate its performance, the proposed system was implemented and tested in a real-world case study — the road lighting energy-saving control system project at the Mingxiang Campus of Taiyuan University of Technology. Experimental results demonstrate that the system exhibits high efficiency, reliability, and superior performance in both energy conservation and operational management, contributing valuable technical insights for smart city development. Future work will focus on further algorithmic optimization and the expansion of application scenarios.
