摘要
ABSTRACT Knowledge hiding (KH) involves intentionally concealing knowledge. The purpose of the study is to find out whether perceived anomie (PA), organizational silence (OS), compulsory organizational citizenship behavior (COCB), and workplace alienation (WA) would lead to KH. A quantitative research model was engaged in the study. Online data for the study were randomly collected from 587 gainfully employed samples. Five standardized questionnaires were used to gather data. The gathered data were analyzed using structural equation modelling (SEM) to test the hypothesized relationships. The study has found that all the paths exhibited significant positive relationships. All four variables, namely, PA, OS, COCB, and WS were found to be antecedents of knowledge hiding. The study's findings are significant and have contributed substantially to knowledge‐sharing literature.
