Investigation of BIM Contractual Perspective in the MENA Construction Industry

Building information modeling (BIM) has gained much attention in the past years, but its legal and contractual aspects have not often been explored. Scholars have addressed the urge to deeply investigate BIM in the management of the construction field. In response to this need, this research paper attempts to help construction stakeholders by shedding the light on the contractual requirements of BIM in the construction industry. Toward this goal, the authors identify the risks associated with BIM, examined BIM contractual standards, and assess their coverage.
