Experimental And Analytical Study Of Wetting Processes Of Continuous Basalt Fibers Used In The Production Of Basalt Rebar

-The paper presents the results of modeling the process of continuous basalt fiberswetting with epoxy binders used in the manufacture of basalt rebar. One of the ways toimprove the quality of basalt rebar is to increase the wettability of basalt fibers with epoxybinders. It is established that the model of basalt fiber impregnation satisfactorily describesthe experiment and allows determining the parameters of the binder flow in the porousstructure of the monofilament bundle. Rheological properties of epoxy binders aredetermined. Numerical results of evaluation of basalt fibers wetting with epoxy binders areprovided.
