The Relationship between the Service Industry and Manufacturing Industry

Based on the I-O table,this paper explores the relationship between the service industry and the manufacturing industry in Jiangsu,Zhejiang and Shanghai respectively,as well as the industrial relationship in the Yangtze River Delta.We find that there is close relationship between the service industry and manufacturing industry,and the weaker dependence of the service industry on the manufacturing among the Yangtze River Delta.We also find that the degree of relationship between service industry and manufacturing is different in Jiangsu,Zhejiang and Shanghai and in Yangtze River Delta.The situation of division and cooperation of industry,which is Shanghai-centered,has been formed.
