PVA was modified by cross-linking method to improve the water-resistant of the films. The contents, technology conditions and the properties, such as water absorption, crystallization, elongation rate and tensile strength of the films were studied. The results indicated that compared with the pure PVA films, the water resistance of the modified films was markedly increased. At last, the impact of plasticizer to the elongation rate and tensile strength of films was also studied.
