A Review of Researches on XUE Bao-chai between 2000-2010

Xue Bao-chai is as important figure as Jia Bao-yu and Lin Dai-yu in A Dream of Red Mansions.Since the novel came out,researches about Xue Bao-chai have continuously come out in academic circles.During the last ten years,researches on the figure have drawn more and more scholars' attention.This paper tries to do research from such aspects as definitions of her name and its related images,her personalities,her tragedies and so on.Here,some objective estimates have been made so as to provide researchers with some valuable reference clues.
