Objective:This study was designed to investigate the relationship of Bag-1 protein expression in normal stomach mucosa and adenocarcinoma tissues, and its clinical significance. Methods:The expressions of Bag-1 protein in 20 normal stomach mucosa and 60 stomach adenocarcinoma tissues were examined with immunohistochemical staining. Results:The positive rates of Bag-1 protein in adenocarcinoma tissues were significantly higher than that in normal stomach mucosa tissues(P0.05).The expression of Bag-1 protein were related to the differentiation degree. Conclusion:In stomach adenocarcinoma.Bag-1 genes is related to cell apoptosis. The overexpression of Bag-1 protein plays an important role in the development and progression of stomach adenocarcinoma.
