Clinical applications research of Gulao decoction in the treatment of spinal tuberculosis

Objective To analyze the clinical applications of Gulao decoction in the treatment of spinal tuberculosis,in order to explore its clinical applications. Methods 60 cases of spinal tuberculosis from June 2010 to April 2013 in our hospital were used randomly number table and divided into the treatment group of 30 patients and the control group of 30 patients, two patients were used the same basic treatment methods,including systemic anti-TB treatment and surgical treatment,while the treatment group on this basis was given Gulao decoction.The disappearing time of the clinical symptoms,blood CRP becoming normal time,bony fusion time and total efficacy after treatment of two groups were observed. Results The disappearing time of afternoon hot flashes,night sweats,local pain and other symptoms in the treatment group were significantly shorter than the control group,erythrocyte sedimentation rate and C-reactive protein were earlier than the control group,bony fusion time was significantly earlier than the control group,the differences were statistically significant(P0.05),the therapeutically effective rate of the treatment group was 90.0% in the control group were 66.7%,the difference was statistically significant(χ2=4.8118,P=0.0283). Conclusion Gulao decoction in the treatment of spinal tuberculosis can assist rapid improvement of clinical symptoms,promote bone healing,and is suitable for clinical application.
