The Overview of the Control Methods on Large Time Delay Systems

The control of large time delay system is one of the research hotspots in control field.The characteristics of large time delay systems are introduced,and the several control methods are fully summed up,including PID control,Smith Predictive Control,Dahlin algorithm,Internal model control,predictive control,intelligent control,etc.The features,the improvement directions and the applications in large time delay systems for each control method are also analyzed.Finally,the progressive tendency for the control of large time delay system is pointed out that the advanced control methods are combined with the traditional control strategies.
