Liquid Silicon Infiltration Process for C/C-SiC Composites

z/C-SiC composites have excellent properties,such as high specific strength and modulus,excel- lent high temperature resistance,high heat conductivity,low coefficient of thermal expansion,etc.This paper presents the developments of C/C-SiC composites fabricated by liquid silicon infiltration(LSI),which is an easy operation and low cost process with short periods.
