Effects of Lixiding on Cardiac Function and Serum Level of Brain Natriuretic Peptide in Patients with Chronic Heart Failure

Objective To investigate the effects of Lixiding on cardiac function and serum level of brain natriuretic peptide in patients with chronic heart failure(CHF).Methods 42 patients with CHF were randomly divided into two groups:Lixiding group(23 patient s) and sodium nitroprusside group(19 patients).all the patients were treated for 3～5 days besides conventional therapy.Heart rates,Plasma BNP,and left ventricular ejection fraction(LVEF),side effects were evaluated before and therapy.Results Lixiding and sodium nitroprusside significantly increased the LVEF,decreased the heart rates and plasma BNP(P0.05),what's more,Lixiding group had much lower Plasma BNP and side effects than sodium nitroprusside group after treatment(P0.05).Conclusion Both Lixiding and sodium nitroprusside improve cardiac function in patient s with CHF,moreover,Lixiding decreases the plasma BNP more significantly than sodium nitroprusside.
