Determination of Related Physical Properties of Chlorinated Poly(propylene)

RP chromatography and laser-turbidity method were used to determinate the phase transformation temperature, solubility parameters, hydrogen-bond force and solubility in different solutions of CPP. The results showed that CPP was a weak polar material with phase transformation of 60～90℃ and solubility parameter of 16.72～21.15(J/cm 3) 1/2 . The solubility tests of CPP indicate when the solubility parameters are close, a general weak polar solvent is a good solvent for CPP, and a medial polar solvent is a weak solvent.
