摘要
Objective:To investigate ultrastructural changes in human bladder detrusor in bladder outlet obstruction(BOO)caused by benign prostatic hyperplasia. Methods:Experimental group includes 10 samples, which comes from 10 patients with BPH and control group includes 10 samples, which comes from 10 patients with bladder tumor without obstruction of lower urinary tract. The detrusor muscles dissected surgically from all patients and the ultrastructural.changes were observed by electron microscopy. Results:In control group, smooth muscle cells were neatly arranged;intercellular space contains few collagen fibers and intracellular connection had more intermediate junciton than gap junction. While in BOO group, the detrusor muscles showed some features, including hypertrophy, malalingnment and disarray.Wide intercellular space contains abundant collagen fibrils and intracellular connection had less intermediate junction than gap junction and desmosomes. Conclusions:The hypofunction and morphologic alteration of bladder detrusor in BOO are related with the changes of detrusor cells are associatde with the physiopathologic change of detrusor after bladder outlet obstruction.
