Research on Semantic Feature Modeling in a Cellular Model

This paper presents the conception of the feature based on the semantic feature modeling and the feature representation, Feature shape will be adjusted in term of the requirement by using a combination model of B -rep CSG and FDT to build solid model and adopting a parametric design method, the theory of the semantic feature modeling based on a cellular model is presented, which will be in favor of forming the theory and method of the feature modeling in future. According to the limitation of the current feature modeling system, the further study on the cellular model modifying operations has been applied to the HUSTCAIDS.
