摘要
To evaluate the photometric results coming from Beam Angle Switching (BAS) lighting scheme, this laboratory-based experimental study is carried out where implementation of the before said lighting scheme is done through IoT based application via wireless communication network (Wi-Fi) and MQTT protocol in Indian context. The lighting control is built in such a way that it combines the advantages of energy-efficiency with longer life cycle of the system where further smart developmental strategy can be incorporated. Furthermore, one fascinating concept in the modern era of street lighting is the smartness that comes with the human centric approach of street lighting schemes, which is also studied in the experiment. This experimentation shows that the design functions effectively and enhances the street users' performance on both the visual and non-visual task. The methodology underlying the whole experiment is very important for the real-world deployment of the wireless BAS enabled system in the street lighting scenes of India as the results coming out of the experiment is very much satisfactory.
