Electrospun polycaprolactone (PCL) fibers show extensive filopodia formation wrapping the fibers after 3 days of cell culture, which is observed on this SEM micrograph. PCL fibers are electrospun with negative voltage polarities to obtain higher surface potential and enhance the bone tissue regeneration.
