Electrolyte-as-binder strategy using in situ -formed PDOL gel for binder-free cathodes in flexible quasi-solid-state Li–S batteries

A binder-free cathode integrated with a PDOL-based quasi-solid-state (QSS) electrolyte was fabricated via in situ polymerization. The binder-free QSS Li–S batteries show improved cyclability, flexibility, and safety.
