Experimental Verification of LR-8 Silicon-Nanowire-Based Optical Demultiplexer for 400 GbE and Beyond in MDCs

We present LR-8 silicon-nanowire-based flat-topped demultiplexer for high-bandwidth interconnects. By band rejection filtering based on discrete path length control and integrated extra filters, we experimentally demonstrated non-periodic flat-topped LR-8 spectra for the first time.
