摘要
Intracellular delivery to mammalian cells has become critical to both fundamental research applications and cell-based therapies. In this Review, Klavs Jensen and colleagues discuss recent work on developing in vitro and ex vivo strategies for cytosolic delivery of macromolecules, concentrating on membrane-disruption-based methods and the use of nanotechnology, microfluidics and laboratory-on-a-chip technology.
