Recovery of phenol in waste water containing phenol

The recovery process of extraction-rectification of phenol in the waste water containing phenol were studied by using extracting reagent with low boiling point.After the waste water containing 6%～6.5% phenol being extracted by three grades of contra-flow process,the phenol content in the residual liquid was decreased to 200mg/L,the removing ration of phenol being more than 99.5%.The phenol was separated from extraction reagent by rectification.The phenol recovered can be recycled to the production of dualphenol.
