This article describes the study of fluorescence technique in variable structures of amphiphilic polymers, including amphiphilic block copolymers, amphiphilic graft copolymers, amphiphilic dendrimers as well as other amphiphilic polymers. It is shown that the effects of changes in structural parameters, such as backbone, length, degree of substitution and molecular weight of polymer's hydrophobic(hydrophilic) groups,on the property of polymer microenvironment(such as micropolarity, microviscosity, local cohesion),aggregation behavior(such as the critical aggregation concentration) and some other properties(such as critical micelle concentration) have been studied by fluorescence technique. These studies provide theoretical instructions to the synthesis of amphiphilic polymers with more powerful functions.
