Study on saponification kinetics of soybean oil

Soybean oil was selected as components of saponification.The effects of factors on the saponification reaction were studied,the proper conditions for the saponification reaction were deter- mined.From the kinetic experimental data,it was known that the total order of saponification reaction was two under the experimental conditions,the reaction was first order both for soybean oil and NaOH. The kinetic expression of the saponification reaction for soybean oil was proposed.
