Clinical analysis on combination of hemoperfusion and hemodialysis to rescue acute paraquat poisoning

Objective:To explore the effect of hemoperfusion and hemodialysis in paraquat poisoning.Methods:16 confirmed cases of paraquat poisoning were chosen and received medical comprehensive treatment.At the same time,hemoperfusion and hemodialysis were given.Results:Hemoperfusion and hemodialysis on the bases of medical comprehensive treatment markedly improved the success rate of rescue.Conclusion:Hemoperfusion and hemodialysis should be used early in paraquat poisoning.
