Detection of Staphylococcus aureus in Food by PCR

Establish a rapid and sensitive method for detection of Staphylococcus aureus in food.Method A couple of primers was designed to amplify the SEA gene in Staphylococcus aureus,the amplified products were compared with the positive clones to judge the result.The limit concentration of the template DNA was 0.05 pg of food samples.And the detection results could be obtained in 24 h.Conclusion PCR was a rapid,sensitive and specific method of Staphylococcus aureus detection in food.
