摘要
The Regulatory framework of the Central American Electricity Market is based on the Treaty implementation, its two protocols and the Regional Electricity Market Regulation. In the latter, the way of the market should operate, both technically and commercially, is established. The regulation also creates regional organizations to allow the operation of the regional electricity market in Central America. This document shows in a broadly way the legislation that allows the operation of the market and the organizational structure of the two main regional agencies of the Regional Electricity Market in Central America. Finally, some conclusions are shown on the regulation of the Regional Electricity Market and its organizational structure.
