摘要
Although Sb2O4, a mixed SbIIISbV oxide, is well known to posses a two-component Mössbauer Sb spectrum, it is shown to exhibit one-component Sb d-orbital photoemission peaks. These results are explained by considering the types of interactions probed by the different experiments: core-attraction-electrron-cloud repulsion in the case of photoelectron spectroscopy and nuclear charge-s-orbital interaction in the case of Mössbauer spectroscopy.
