Kajian literatur: gambaran perbedaan national early warning score (news) dengan modified early warning score (mews) = Literature review: description of differences between national early warning score (news) and modified early warning score (mews).

Deteksi dini kondisi pasien perlu dilakukan oleh perawat. Hal ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui perubahan kondisi klinis pasien. Perubahan kondisi klinis pasien tersebut dapat diukur dengan alat yang dapat dijadikan indikator. Beberapa indikator yang dapat digunakan untuk mengidentifikasi klinis pada pasien dewasa adalah National Early Warning Score (NEWS) dan Modified Early Warning Score (MEWS). Oleh karena itu, penting untuk mengidentifikasi klinis pasien sehingga, penulis ingin membuat kajian literatur mengenai gambaran NEWS (National Early Warning Score) dengan MEWS (Modified Early Warning Score) dengan melihat perbedaanya. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode simplified approach. Dari data yang dianalisis terdapat lima artikel yang dibahas dalam pembahasan. NEWS dan MEWS memiliki kekurangan dan keuntungan masing-masing. NEWS maupun MEWS mudah diimplementasikan. Namun, MEWS terdapat urine output, sedangkan NEWS tidak / Early detection of the patient’s condition needs to be done by nurse. The early detection is to determine the change in the patient’s clinical condition. The changes in the patient’s clinical condition can be measured by means of an indicator. Two indicators that can be used to identify clinics in adult patients are the National Early Warning Score (NEWS) and Modified Early Warning Score (MEWS). Therefore, an important indicator is needed to identify the clinical patient so that the authors aimed to conduct a literature review of the description in regard with NEWS (National Early Warning Score) and MEWS (Modified Early Warning Score) by identifying their differences. This research applied a simplified approach method. There were five articles retrieved for this study. The results revealed that NEWS and MEWS have their own disadvantages and advantages. Both NEWS and MEWS are easy to implement. However, MEWS has urine output identification, while NEWS does not.
