Introduction

Communist International and International Press Correspondence (Inprecor or Inprecorr) are, by general consensus, two most important sources for studying world communism. For over two decades they were official organs of the Third International, published in several languages, and circulated all over the world. They dealt not only with the activities of the Comintern itself, the Professional International, the Youth Communist International, but also with political, economic, and social movements in various countries. They were influential in their time and became a part of revolutionary history.
