Mechanism and Research Progress on TiO_2 Photocatalyst Modified with Noble Metal

Utilized noble metal to modify TiO2 photocatalyst is a main method and it attracts more attention.In this paper,the mechanism on TiO2 photocatalyst modified with noble metal is summarized.The main preparation methods are summarized and the present problems are analyzed.The deficiencies of depositing noble metal can be overcome and the photocatalytic activity can be improved effectively by doping some noble metal.
