36 cases of treatment for idiopathic thrombocytopenic purpura in children by prednisone with gamma globulin

BACKGROUND?To compare the therapeutic effects of prednisone alone and prednisone with gamma globulin for idiopathic thrombocytopenia purupra in children.?CASE REPORT?36 cases of idiopathic thrombocytopenia purupra were selected in children and randomly divided into 2 groups of treatment with prednisone only and prednisone combined with gamma globulin, and compared the therapeutic effects between two groups.The therapeutic effects of prednisone combined with gamma globulin is better than that of prednisone only and there is significant different between two groups.?DISCUSSION?To treat the idiopathic thrombocytopenia purupua with prednisone combined with gamma globulin in children could significantly improve the therapeutic effects.
