Mine gas explosion suppression material as an auxiliary technology of mine gas treatment can reduce the disaster after methane explosion.This paper generalized the progress of explosion suppression material,and presented the conception that decreasing methane concentration by absorption to suppress explosion.Methane was used as the model of mine gas,and the effect of three kinds of absorbents SDS,SDBS,and Tween 80 on methane absorption was studied using Head Space Gas Chromatography to determine the concentration of methane.The results indicate that the all the absorbents have effect on absorbing methane and Tween 80 is better than the others.
