Microwave-assisted extraction of total flavones from Tussilago farara L.flowers was studied.Single factor experiment and orthogonal experiment results showed that the optimum conditions were microwave power 400 W,60% ethanol as solvent, ratio of liquid to material 20∶1(mL∶g) and extraction time 9 min.Under above conditions, the extraction rate of total flavones from Tussilago farara L.flowers was 9.7%.Compared with traditional extraction,microwave-assisted extraction could shorten the extraction time and increase the extraction efficiency.
