The dissertation is designed in two parts. In the first part, which is theoretical, I studied extent and annual production of bioplastic, its practical value and environmental acceptability of it. I also studied various possibilities for the synthesis of bioplastics In the experimental part of my dissertation, I synthesized bioplastic from a different materials and I studied physical and chemical properties of it. Based on the collected results I suggest which substance and procedure is best suited for the synthesis of bioplastics and which physical and chemical properties is possible to find out in the school laboratory. \nThe essential conclusions of the dissertation are: \n \tBioplastics will probably become very desirable material on the market in the future and environmentally more acceptable than plain plastic. \n \tBioplastics can be effectively synthesized on several ways. \n \tIn the school laboratory is possible to synthesize bioplastics from various materials, the easiest to get is bioplastic from milk. \n \tIn the school laboratory is possible to check some physical and chemical properties of bioplastic. \n
