摘要
When to start parallel operations in a hybrid control system? This question is motivated not only by the process control of chemical plants, but also relevant to air traffic control and the control of electromechanical systems. The control problem is to construct a control law which satisfies the control objectives of availability of resources, satisfaction of constraints on continuous variables, and prevention of deadlocks. A hierarchical control structure is proposed for this problem and a control law is formulated for a particular level of this structure in a special case. As an example of the feed control of a chemical plant it is proven that the control objectives are met. In addition, for the coordination control of a linear control system and linear inequalities a sufficient condition for satisfaction of the inequalities is established.
