Development status of China's renewable energy power generation

With the rapid development of the global economy, energy demand of the world is increasing fast. Faced with the exhaustion of the limited non-regeneration energy, the renewable energy, which is characterized by cleanness, safety, and large quantity, has drawn more and more attention. Firstly the advantages and the development of renewable energy for power generation in our country are introduced in this paper. And the difference of development between the developed countries and our country is figured out. Through the comparison, the existent problems of renewable power in China are proposed. Furthermore five major kinds of renewable energy, including hydropower resources, wind energy, solar energy, biomass energy, and ocean energy, are separately analyzed in the paper. Their exploration and utilization status, the existent insufficiency, the future prospects are discussed specially. Finally a future prospect and some suggestions for the development of renewable energy power generation are given.
