Synthesis of novel bio-based amines from vanillin and guaiacol for high performance epoxy thermosets

In this work, bio-based amines from lignin-derived vanillin and guaiacol were synthesized and used as hardener and accelerator in epoxy thermosets, showing improved performance over petrol-based benchmarks.
