Analysis of microstructure and mineralization of subchondral endplate in patients with osteoarthritis

We analyzed the microstructure and mineralization of the subchondral endplate in patients with osteoarthritis. Cyst formation and thickening of the subchondral endplate were observed, and the mineralization around the bone cyst decreased remarkably.
