Mordant dyeing of modified cotton fabric with extracts from caesalpinia sappan

Mordant dyeing of modified cotton fabric with aqueous extract of caesalpinia sappan is carried out.The results show that the K/S value of dyeing increases with the dyeing time and decreases with rising of the dyeing temperature.The cotton fabric features deep shade and good color fastness with 1 g/L mordant and dyeing at above 80 ℃ for more than 30 min.
