Survey and Analysis of Public Environmental Consciousness in the Counties of Western China

Environmental education is the important for ecological restoration and environment protection. Environmental consciousness is the important measure to assess the level of environmental education. The results of this questionnaire survey show that the level of public environmental consciousness in the counties of western China is in the intermediate level, and it also belongs to superficial environmental consciousness. It should enhance the social propagation of environmental protection, heighten the consciousness of environmental protection in different minorities, choose the stuitable way of environmental education for different people and pay attention to the emphasis of environmental education in different regions.
