Research Progress in Cathode Materials Lithium Vanadium Phosphate for Lithium-ion Battery

Lithium vanadium phosphate is a new type of cathode material for lithium-ion battery,whose electrochemical properties are affected by synthesis methods and process conditions.An introduction of the structural and electrochemical characteristics in charge-discharge processes of Li_3V_2(PO_4)_3 is provided.The research progresses in preparing Li_3V_2(PO_4)_3 by solid-state reaction,sol-gel,microwave heating methods and so on are reviewed and their advantages and disadvantages are also compared.
